HPS - Nut Brown Ale Recipe Kit Slightly sweet, full malt flavor with a nutty caramel finish. Styled after Newcastle's Nut Brown Ale. Use 4 oz. of molasses or 8 oz. of brown sugar to accentuate the nutty caramel finish. Use White Labs English Ale WLP002 yeast for a traditional malt finish. This recipe kit includes all ingredients needed to make five gallons of beer.

  8 oz. Crushed Briess Caramel 60 Malt                


  2 oz. Crushed Briess Chocolate Malt                     


  1 oz. Willamette Hops (Bittering #1) @ 60 minutes     


  1 oz. Willamette Hops (Finishing) @ 55 minutes


  1 ea. Grain steeping bag (Small)


  1 Pk. Muntons Ale Yeast


  5 oz. Priming sugar
