HPS - Belgian Black Ale Recipe Kit a smooth, medium bodied roast barley flavored ale with citrus notes and a hint of licorice. Styled after New Belgium's 1554, it is a favorite. Use White Labs Belgian Ale WLP550 yeast for a smoother taste and finish. This recipe kit includes all ingredients needed to make five gallons of beer.

8 oz. Crushed Muntons Roasted Barley


8 oz. Briess Caramel 60 Malt


1 ea. Grain steeping bag (Small)


1 oz. Willamette (Bittering ) @ 60 minutes                      


1 oz. Cascade (Finishing) @ 55 minutes
